The Types of Private Jet Companies

It is imperative that one must know the types of companies that deal with private jets. There are two kinds of private jet companies: the operators and brokerages. Operators are the businesses that physically keep and fly the aircraft while brokerages are basically intermediaries between clients and operators. In turn, one can almost always know who to approach.

If the flight is out of an airport where they need planes to be based, an operator will come up with a quote for their aircraft but if unavailable or outside of their normal zone, they will call up other operators to test the availability and book other options for his or her clients. Brokers, on the other hand, basically and only depend on outside operators to produce the aircraft and seldom, they don’t have an on the spot connection to the aircraft they’re working with.
